We have set up modern intelligent tiered cold storages in food production or processing origins like Hongdao and Boxing. It broke through the tradition that foods are kept from transit to consumption, and included the producing start point into cold chain, which both ensures best food quality and overcomes imperfections of high labor, high energy consumption and low space usage of traditional cold storages. Modern cold storages have multiple temperature zones an are equipped with stacking machines, conveyors, shuttle carts, tiered shelves and low temperature endurable control systems. These cold storages don’t require inside workers. They just need to stay outside to operate and can be protected from health harm. Besides, the warehouse space can be maximized to store goods and thus the unit storage cost is effectively lowered. These automatic warehouses can ensure “First In First Out” management and rapid loading/unloading. The computerized system can provide information like goods name, quantity, location and temperature at any time, which remarkably enhances the management efficiency.

Based on steady refrigerated transportation development, our company also progresses in cold store sector, contributing a 30% of total revenue. We own two 2,000-m2 cold stores and one 10,000 m2 cold store in Qingdao with a total store capacity of 30,000 tons. 

Meanwhile, we are also building a large cold warehouse in Boxing City, whose phase I includes a 1,000 m2 refrigerated meat processing workshop and a 20,000 m2 cold store. Phase I will be put into use in 2023 with a preliminary scale of 50,000 tons per year. Phase II is planned to lunch on early 2025 with a yearly processing and store capacity of 100,000 tons.
